About Us
Research-backed parenting advice, written by people who actually have kids.

Parenting is hard. Nobody hands you a manual, and most of the advice out there either contradicts itself or makes you feel like you’re doing everything wrong.
We started Parenting Quotient because we wanted a different kind of parenting resource – one that’s honest about what works, what doesn’t, and what nobody tells you before the baby arrives.
What we do
We write about pregnancy, breastfeeding, child development, and the daily grind of raising kids. We try to back up our advice with actual research, and we skip the guilt trips.
How we think about parenting
Every kid is different. Every family is different. What worked for your neighbor’s baby might not work for yours, and that’s fine. We write about options, not rules.
Trust your gut, pay attention to your kid, and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
What we write about most:
- Building real connections with your kids
- Understanding what’s going on at each developmental stage
- Taking care of yourself too (you can’t pour from an empty cup, etc.)
- Making routines that actually stick
What we care about
Research-backed
We check our facts against actual studies before publishing.
All families welcome
There's no single right way to raise a kid. What works for your family is what matters.
Real community
A place where parents can share what they're going through without judgment.
Useful advice
Stuff you can actually use today, not abstract theories.
